Non-Bulky Pull-Up Training Pants for Kids
One of the biggest challenges with larger sizing is finding training underwear that does not feel thick, stiff, or babyish. Our size 6 pull-up training pants feature Cloudfresh™ technology that makes them 60% thinner than conventional training pants, while the Snuggly Waistband wraps gently and securely around your child — no squeezing, no pressure marks, just a comfortable fit that moves naturally with them all day long.
- Snuggly Waistband fits snug without squeezing or marking skin
- 60% thinner than conventional training pants thanks to Cloudfresh™ technology
- Low-profile design sits discreetly under all clothing
- Soft construction flexes naturally with every movement
Size 6 Potty Training Underwear for Sensitive Skin
Older toddlers and preschoolers can still have sensitive, reactive skin — and the materials in their training pants should reflect that. Our size 6 potty training underwear is made with hypoallergenic, totally chlorine-free materials that are gentle enough for daily wear and safe for children prone to skin irritation or eczema. Clean materials, thoughtful design, and no harsh chemicals from the inside out.
- Totally chlorine-free and free from harsh or irritating chemicals
- Hypoallergenic materials safe for children with sensitive skin or eczema
- Cloudfresh™ breathable design helps prevent diaper rash and skin irritation
- Buttery-soft feel reduces friction and keeps skin comfortable through every activity
🧼 Gentle clean-ups matter just as much as the right pants. Our Wispy Duo Wipes are designed to be soft on sensitive skin and perfect for quick changes anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions: Size 6 Training Pants
What size do training pants come in?
Training pants typically range from around 2T up to 5T or larger depending on the brand. At Alppibaby, our training pants use a numbered sizing system — size 3 starts at 19 lbs, size 4 covers 26 lbs and up, size 5 starts at 33 lbs, and size 6 starts at 37 lbs. Always check the brand's sizing guide to find the most accurate fit for your child.
When should a toddler wear training pants?
Most children are ready to transition into training pants somewhere between 18 months and 3 years of age, though readiness looks different for every child. Signs to look for include staying dry for longer periods, showing curiosity about the toilet, or being able to pull clothing up and down independently. Training pants are designed to bridge the gap between diapers and underwear, so introducing them when your child shows these signs tends to make the process smoother.
Is it normal for a 5 year old to wear a diaper?
While most children are fully potty trained by age 4, it is not uncommon for some 5 year olds to still need pull-ups or training pants, particularly at night or during periods of regression. Every child develops at their own pace, and nighttime dryness can take longer to achieve than daytime control. If you have concerns about your child's potty training progress, speaking with your pediatrician is always a good step.
What is the difference between size 5 and 5T?
Size 5 and 5T are often close in fit but come from different sizing systems — 5T is a toddler-specific size that tends to account for a slightly roomier fit in the seat and waist, while size 5 follows a more standard children's clothing cut. In terms of weight, both sizes generally fit children in a similar range, though the exact measurements vary by brand. At Alppibaby, our sizing is based on weight rather than T-sizing, so checking the size guide will always give you the most accurate fit.
